Booking Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Reservations:
- All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of a 30% deposit of the total tour cost.
- The balance of the payment must be made 30 days before the start of the tour.
- For bookings made within 30 days of the departure date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
2. Payment Methods:
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or any other agreed-upon method.
- All payments should be made in USD unless otherwise agreed.
3. Cancellations and Refunds:
- Cancellations must be made in writing and are effective upon receipt by Tanzarate Corporate.
- Cancellation fees apply as follows:–
– Cancellations made 21 days or more before the tour start date: 50% refund.
– Cancellations made within 7 days of the tour start date: No refund.
- No refunds will be made for any unused services or any part of the tour not taken.
4. Amendments:
- Any changes to confirmed bookings must be requested in writing.
- Tanzarate Corporate will do its best to accommodate amendments, but cannot guarantee that changes will be possible.
- Any additional costs incurred due to amendments will be the responsibility of the client.
5. Travel Insurance:
- It is mandatory for all clients to have comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, personal baggage, and emergency evacuation.
- Tanzarate Corporate is not responsible for any costs incurred due to insufficient or lack of insurance coverage.
6. Health and Safety:
- Clients must inform Tanzarate Corporate of any medical conditions or special requirements at the time of booking.
- It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are fit and healthy to undertake the tour.
- Tanzarate Corporate reserves the right to refuse participation to any client deemed unfit for the tour.
7. Liability:
- Tanzarate Corporate acts only as an agent for the various independent suppliers that provide accommodation, transportation, sightseeing activities, and other services connected with your tour.
- While we take all reasonable steps to ensure that the tour is organized as specified, Tanzarate Corporate will not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity that may be occasioned by these suppliers or arising from participation in any activities.
8. Force Majeure:
- Tanzarate Corporate shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power, or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout, or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.
9. Complaints:
- If the client has a complaint, they must immediately inform the service provider (e.g., hotel, tour guide) to allow for rectification.
- If the issue is not resolved, the client should contact Tanzarate Corporate directly.
- Complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the end of the tour.
10. Governing Law:
- These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tanzania.
- Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.
By booking with Tanzarate Corporate, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
